Evening all. Just been outside to check what was going on; re, rain, snow ice etc. Ws a little surprised to find the stream has now overflowed and is running down the drive towards the river which runs to the side of our house. This has not happened before in the 18 - 19 years we have lived here, although the garden floods once or twice a year. I am getting a little concerned the house might be next.

I think I better go and move some furniture and fill some compost bags with something, just in case there is more rain.

I could do with a few Troops round here. The OH is fortunately out at post work yoga!

    Stay safe.

Verdun, I think I would have had a rant too.  I saw the bit on benefits street, where the couple had bags of food from the food bank, and he was sorting it, thats ok, I dont like that, I end up screaming at it, "but the kids might like it!!".

On a better note.... Hows the car?  Have you polished it yet?

     Punkdoc, i have PM'd you.

I hope your house is OK. Have you got enough bags?
