Weather forecast has a risk of rain, hope it doesn't. My garden was open to deer, I almost gave up, then 3 years ago my new OH fenced the main flower bit and the veggie garden. When I first made the garden there was no bother from deer for years, then word got round image

Yes Percy. Been in France since 1985. Have made an English garden. This forum is great for keeping in touch with English people (and Scottish, brother lives in Scotland) who love gardens. We go to England regularly on holiday or to visit friends and family and visit gardens.

Oh gardening must be so easy in Englandshire and France what with all that wonderful weather/climate, real gardeners come from Scotland where it's tough conditions all year round..imageimage

image Oopsy, should have gone to bed by now.....lost track of time and OH is sighing every other minute next to be...he is on the football forum moaning about our apparent lack of actually agreeing terms with a manager!!!

It's not easy in Dordogneshire, too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. Where I am there isn't much topsoil, it's limestone and clay.

When I went to stay with my brother in Crieff the weather was lovely.
