Morning All! I'm a little excited that its starting to get light in the morning - no more banging my knee in the kitchen when I make the first mug of tea!

Keep safe, I've been hearing of farms abandoned by the fire service (too dangerous) having failed to get any sandbags from the authorities.  I hope they manage to survive somehow, they're trying to evacuate the animals but of course all the food has been destroyed image

  • Good morning all - hope everyone is safe!

Clari - it's so obvious that government et al is so far removed from the realities of rural life that the impact of the flooding on farmers and on food supplies and prices in the future has been going totally over their heads!!!  They have no idea - total numpties the lot of them image image

Morning all. Don't you have leccy in the kitchen Clari? image

Dove - they're  removed from reality full stop.  If those floods had been in the Home Counties where they have second homes, or central London - the Armed Forces, Batman and  God Almighty would have been called into action on the first day. image

So sad seeing the beautiful Brunel railway in that state. What a mess. image

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Fg, shame the government don't have magic wands ............. or on the other hand, would we trust them with power like what you have got? image

Ooooh no Dove. Much too dangerous image

Frankly, I wouldn't trust any of them to buy a pint of milk.

    Morning all x

Only 2 days left at work before my week off (in case you'd all forgotten image) and it's bingo tonight image

Have a great day all, and if you can't have a great day have a safe one.

    Gotta dash . . .

Good Morning. Happy jollies to those who are away.

It stopped raining in the early hours and we have some sun, but a lot of cloud and a dull day is forecast.

Some HW on tha cards but if it stays dry I'm sure I can leave it and stretch my legs instead.

Panda, prepare yourself for the smell of Olbas Oil on Sunday - my head's totally stuffed up image

Haircut in the city centre planned for later in the day - anyone want anything from the market? I'll have to be able to bring it home on the bus .....

  • Morning all, got a few hours sleep in the end. My head is so muzzy this morning, thank goodness its not work today.

Will take it slow this morning and just do a few jobs housework wise.

Dove, could you get me some fruit please, just a few pears and apples. Mind your knee on the bus and be careful with your new trolley, no banging peoples ankles.

Have a good day everyone take care.    TTFN x
