That's good, I'm sure he'll come back if the forum settles.

The ignore button makes it look settled, that's good enough for me

Just checked the boundaries and greenhouse. Everything ok here. I'm staying in and baking a cake.

Hello forkers. Well it wasnt that bad was it? Lots of rain, the stream is a raging torrent with quite large branches in it [ will have to get those out ] to stop it flooding.

My trillium tubers have just arrived. Have never grown them but they allways look lovely when I see them in other gardens. I have been adding leaf mould to one of the shady borders and will put them in there. I hope they do ok as they were not cheap.

I have to admit that I am still feeling very sad and angry about what has happened recently but I think we need to carry on with plenty of garden chat and light hearted banter. Hopefully all is returning to normal. Good luck Verdun in all that you do. You are a kind man, a knowledgeable gardener and an entertaining buffoon!

Hello punkdoc, so glad you're still here.

Love Trilliums, good luck with them. Not something I dare grow with dry, limestone soil. Never even seen them for sale here.

Haven't seen Dove for the last couple of days either. Hope she's OK. Perhaps she's busy with leaving work and starting retirement.
