Just had a thought, that's going to be a hugeeee pile of soil your digging, what's happening to it? That's an amazing opportunity to build a bank to separate you garden into section image

Ryan, if that was aimed at me we're also digging the foundations for the man shed and removing two mounds. I guess conservatively 7 tons. That's not a bank that's a mountain.

That looks worth getting a sore throat for! I must make mulled cider sometime.

  • Wow! That really is a mountain! What's happening with it all?! Not like you can just accidently drop it over the other side of your garden fence image And I hope you haven't drunk all of that Clarington, I'll get you a leaflet for Alcoholics Anonymous!

Oh dear my quote button must have gotten stuck!!

Ryan its going on what is to be the vegetable garden for now until we work out what to do with it all. I'm thinking Great Escape style walking down the road emptying bags along the verge. Still I did want raised beds...

yes, I know this is an absurd time of morning. image

I cant sleep in a strange hard bed in Newcastle.  Funeral yesterday, went as well as could be expected. sorting out of stuff to do today, then back home late Friday.

I noticed my Hamamelis was starting to flower yesterday, I  moved it next to the window so that I could see it from indoors. It's one of those plants people buy me for a present, only for me to realise , the reason I hadn't got one  is I have the wrong soil. So it gets potted and moved about.

It looks like you were all busy on here yesterday. I'll be back at the weekend.

    Good morning all image

Fidget,((hugs)) hope you got some sleep eventually - I HATE not being able to get to sleep image

Clari, what you want with all that soil is a load of rocks, just think about that Garden Revival prog on rock gardens image

No walking done this morning as it was absolutely tipping down with rain and now I've got to wait in for a delivery (art rather than gardening related).  Still, I walked at least quadruple my usual yesterday, and we're off to London tomorrow fsor the weekend and will be walking around Soho etc, so I won't beat myself up about it.

Anyway, I'm going to have to have a Cake Deputy this weekend or Verdun will start losing weight - who's gone some baking planned?

Morning Clari image and my Folker chums. It's Friday image shame it's been raining all night image Ordinarily I would say the garden needed it but . . , enough is enough!

Anyway, got to dash. Good day to all!
