Been quite busy outside today as it cleared up and was pleasant most of the time. Digging out more turf to make space for plants and sowing more sweet peas and lettuce etc. Will have to have something to eat - maybe not cheese though....
Off for a look round to see what's what
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fidget hugs You must be worried even tho light hearted post. Must be hard for Dad to be bed ridden when he feels ok. Maybe Gaffa tape for Father Fidget.
Had odd showers here but crickey it's been windy, snapped piece off rose and thankfully clematis' already tied in. Tulips if they weren't done they are now.
Time for food Melanzane alla parmigrana, thanks Lily However being one with strong canine teeth I'm having gammon with mine
Archie me thinks you are keeping this country going, not only by early shifts but chilli consumption. Have good meal & hope weather ok when you get home from work.
Gaffa tape needed here. there must have been a good gust of wind today, the polytunnel shed all the bricks holding the cover down, ripped off the tapes tying it to the frame, and tried to take off. OH suggests lots of tie wraps and some more bricks.
Strangely, all the plants were in the same position. I expected them to be all over the floor.
What suggestions have you lot got to punish the second person in a month who has driven into son's beloved Alfa Romeo while parked in a car park and does at least £1,000 of damage??? This one took a look at what he'd done then drove off
Fortunately there were witnesses who got his number plate and description.
All I can say is it's a good job son was in the auction house and not the car park!!!

Fidget - I find that double sided sticky tape on the bed or chair works well with small children and the elderly

My brother the electrician is going tomorrow. He usually has a good supply of those rolls of insulating tape. Strapping Dad to the bed should work.
