Glad you got things sorted Verdun Battoning down the hatches here too - we've actually decided to postpone our trip to Beth Chatto's garden which we had arranged for tomorrow - the forecast for that area speaks of thunder, lightening and torrential rain - we're foolhardy but not as foolhardy as all that .... and anyway, isn't that garden designed for drought - seems a bit silly looking at it in the pouring rain We'll arrange it again in a few weeks' time
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hi all, saw all your messages about the weather warnings and how you're all prepared, I do hope it does not affect you all The wind is so scarey and does so much damage, just hard to believe when such a nice day today
Been to our Wyevale today, it's a really nice one and brought six lovely shrubs all half price Plan is to put in front of the neighbours shed!
Might make a start in a minute if I can get off here
bekki I use to make cards with a friend, it was her hobby and she use to sell them at work etc, she got quite addicted and spent hundreds of pounds! Don't go there!!!!
