No stacey. By the time I get an appointment, It will be better. My GP works on the basis that most people are better before they get an appointment. That way they don't fill the surgery up with ill people.Painkillers, three days rest and recuperation, a good book, and a box of chocs. It worked last time.
You are right fidget. Most backs get better with painkillers and gentle exercise when able. Alcohol actually helps in that it is a muscle relaxant and will aid spasms. Lets face it chocolate and cake helps all conditions!
verdun i love Sheffield but today I do feel like a bit of Cornish heat. Nevermind off to South Africa soon.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Hello all. This this was beginning to sound like the weather thread! But then the weather does have a huge influence in gardening. It is influencing this afternoon for me! Lawn going "squelch, squelch". Think I'll do some more ironing.
This morning I went to a meeting about starting a bereavement support group for English people in France.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good thing to do Lizzie, but be careful you don't find yourself being the one who supports everyone.
Fidget, sounds like my sort of cure all.
Have a good hols Punkdoc.
Got council green bin full here and up the road. Loads of leaves raked, not as many as some people's acorns. Have acquired a small self set hellibore, now potted up.
Few more bulbs to plant here, weather not looking good for tomorrow, so a little job for Wednesday. Been lovely and sunny, even if cold. One of those days when you can wrap up warm and enjoy the fresh air.
Been outside till 5 o clock! Thought I'd better come in so that the birds could get some food before it was dark - they were looking quite annoyed with me
More woodwork done and painted, raised bed that I did yesterday planted up and more bulbs in. Getting there.
Would be nice if someone offered to make the dinner but.....what's that pink thing flying overhead..
Fidget - cake is definitely the best thing for your back
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Good day all
Lot of frosty folk about today but non here, although I don't think it was far off . GH temp was 3* and its usually about 2* warmer than outside.
Have had alovely day. All washing more or less dry.
Raked more of the******acorns!
Cleared a raised bed ready for next year, pulled the cosmos, and made an arched walkway. Not much cash so 2 cheap arches and some very stout canes.
Already have a rose -'Iceberg' climbing for it
Posted the photo and it disappeared
will try again
Eventually will lead to something interesting not a pile of old pallets!!

FB I cannot stress how good a visit to a chiropractor has been for me in the past.
My GP works along those same sorts of lines but I think they're hoping for a few deaths to reduce numbers~:
"No appointments for two weeks or you can come this morning if it's an emergency"
If it was an emergency I would be speaking to a triage nurse rather than a doctor's receptionist!
I had to de ice the windscreen this morning. Not a lot but enough to get an old credit card out of my wallet...
