evening all .day off . in the garden today big tidy and sowing seeds .potting up dahlias. . working sat but off sun big day in the garden with oh writing in the summer house with her feet up . .some bad family stuff .going on ..kids eh ,.. curry and beer tonight
Evening all - SB poured - lets see if i am still awake when GW comes on
Operation GH move on for tomorrow - so then i will be able to start off my dahlias.
Tracey, i grow delphiniums from seed - needs a bit of patience, but seem to do much better for me than GC ones - which seem to keel over very quickly (probably Dutch grown, and can't settle in to a new culture). I have a new lot on the go this year too.
Archie - hope your "stuff" gets sorted soon - hugs
Just like to say Woodgreen Wonderboy says a big HELLO to you all, I got a reply from him today - he has been super busy with so many things
I did a bit of plant buying as the weather was wet today so that is a few plants for around the pond from here http://www.birdfood.co.uk/ctrl/node:147;page:31;/plants they do good 9cm sized plants that look great - so may be with me Monday
KEF - I get my roses from http://www.classicroses.co.uk/ founded by the late great Peter Beales just up the road here at Attleborough.
For those who are impatiently waiting for delphinium seeds to 'grow up and flower', why not think about growing Larkspur aka the annual delphinium - so pretty
I've had such a hectic day, and I'm so and it's nearly time for Gardeners World - will I be able to stay awake.........................
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
