I've posted on your thread Verdun, I love yellow, my favourite colour....so happy and sunny image

Anyway forkers, I'm here to bid you all a happy weekend, hope the sun shines for everyone.  I'm off for some quality family time and red squirrel hunting (not literally, just for photographic purposes!!), I've put a ban on iPads/iPhones and general internet access so can't break my own rule!! image

Have fun and catch you all Monday, T x

I don't like blue flowers MrsG. Don't really like blue at all. Only if it's purple.

    Sorry image

I like yellow but not the brash colour of Hypericum. Soft yellows in summer, but I don't mind stronger shades the rest of the year. If you associate yellows with dark foliage it looks very smart.

    OL have a great weekend.

Fairy thanks for info' I'm not sure about David A roses, I thought it was from somewhere near to Dove, but haven't looked when DA is. I'm only browsing and wanted to save the link for later. Did you get a white peony?

I change my mind about favorite colours, but have always loved blue & white. Last year I went all delicate, pinks, lilacs. I like yellow in the spring but not too fussed othertimes unless it is an acid to limey one. I currently don't like orange. I think I change as the quality of light changes throughout the seasons. Or I'm just daft image

Just remembered I do have a yellow tree peony, but it was given and is special even if not totally to my liking.

I've suddenly forgotten how to spell paeony.

Even worse, I've been looking through my book which I scribble plant names to look up later, and I found a funny looking one, so Googled and Vespa Crabro is a giant wasp ! image I do remember the thread but why it's in my book is anyone's guess.

    The Duchesse looks lovely.

  • Can't wait to finish work today. The sun is out after a foggy start and I have many plans afoot for the weekend.  Not much doing at work, so would rather be out in the garden!!!  Plan on planting spuds at the weekend at the allotment and any other tasks which need doing.

Lily I think you can spell it that way but I try use botanical names. When my brain works.
