Afternoon everyone image Very changeable weather here today, at least we managed a 4 mile walk before get the heavens opened again!!

Nothing planned for the weekend apart from healthy eating, gym, walking and of course gardening image

Just made a healthy Rhubarb Fool for dinner tonight with my rhubarb, the pleasure of cooking with food you've grown yourself is fantastic image

HUGE congratulations to Lizzie on becoming a grand-mummy again, by now you will have no doubt had lots of Edward cuddles image

Today is a better day already, thank you everyone, I hope it is better for all those that had rubbish days yesterday too. My big boy has at last realised that he can get a good grade in his GCSEs if he puts his mind to it and has been biology cramming all morning - first exam on Tuesday image Keeping everything crossed.

Right, off to the gym then gardening.....rain or not there are weeds that have to be removed image

Quick question.......is it ok to just hoe annual tiny weed seedlings or do they all need picking out? Obviously the nasty perennial / spreading weeds I take out (as much as I can!)

That's what hoe's are for image  tickling the soil to dislodge those little tiny weed seedlings - carry on tickling OL image

Thanks Dove, I did think that but then I wondered if they should still be picked out!!  No wonder weeding was taking so long....oops image

I'll get out with my tickling stick when I've been to the gym, if the rain holds off....if it doesn't I may still go out and just get wet - I hate weeds!!

I've been very good - I've been spring-cleaning inside the kitchen fridge and the bigger one in the garage.  Unidentifiable jars of goo have been thrown away as has anything more than a year past it's best before date.  OH will be very happy image

Of course, as soon as I  was past the point of no return and had emptied the first fridge the rain outside stopped and the sun shone image

Now that I have almost finished .................................... it's raining again image

Verdun glad niece got the jobimage celebration cake ?

Been in and out all morning between showers & it's too windy to stand plants o/s to harden off.  Better add coldframe to OH's list of projects image considering length of list I'd better buy one.

Off again as rain seems to have stopped.

That's just not on! Lost a long postimageso will summarise.

Lots done in garden. Son potting on pumpkins, OH putting ONE arch post in, 3 to goimage. Stumpery attended to and looking better. Cornflower tray tipped up (son) and rehomed. Herbs tidied up. Old rosemary pulled and pulled and pulled, finally out of it's pot, just a little pot boundimage, not rehomed yet, was going in veg bed but too clayey when dug over, it won't like it. Was out until 3.30, mostly ok just a couple of showers then t shirt hot!

    Hope all ok.
