Chillier outside this morning - only 3C - still quite blustery too.
I wonder if BT broadband has been fixed yet? Hopefully that's why a few regulars were absent yesterday - Fairy for one.
I was thinking some of us rural types could come up by Romani wagon and vardo with horses - we could borrow some from friends and if we set off now we'd arrive in time - that way we'll bring our own sleeping accommodation - can you arrange some parking for us Pdoc ........ gateways and driveways are fine
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Feeling a bit chilly here - expecting an ice scraping session when I step out the front door
I'd love to come to the party .....will launch my kayak and arrive via Pdoc's stream. Don't need much in the way of overnight accommodation - hopefully by then I will be back to being yellow and fluffy (instead of blue, square, with a faintly quizzical expression), so will just need a cosy coop with a little perch.
Morning all, quiet on here today.... are we on strike? Or international duvet day that no one told me about?
Hope everyone is well or on the mend x
My cold is just run down stuffyness made worse by central heating so not complaining just sound revolting on the plus side, I had a job interview yesterday. Same company but better position, it seemed to go really well so even if I don't get it I've made a great impression with my current employer.
Hope Mrs Pdoc is getting on well with her new job, the commute doesn't sound much fun tho
Happy to hear you are home Hosta, if you need another holiday come stay here and you can get revenge and keep my neighbours awake for me, then off to Pdoc's for more of the same!
Morning all , looks like a nice day , just had breakfast
Went to a Lecture at Lincoln Uni last night by Ann Cleeves , she wrote the Books that 2 current TV programmes are based on , firstly Vera on Sunday , secondly Shetland on Friday , really interesting talk
Today's jobs finish sealing shower and new wind screen wipers for my car
It sounds like the Valentine party is a yes Hosted by Pdoc
Lily you will have to ask doc if you can bring Poldark
Theme would be good...I'm thinking...maybe food. I could wear a green dress and a white coat left unfastened and come as a lettuce sandwich Think someone else had better come up with a theme
Hope everyone has a good day and our BT friends are back soon

Morning all.
Woke up to snow, now sunny but bitterly cold.
I will put some heating in summerhouse, that will provide accommodation for some of you, then might have to put a marquis up in the orchard.
More coffee needed. Bought a pod machine at Christmas, not sure whether I like the coffee or not.

Another grey day here ,but so far dry. . Breezy as ever.
I'm calling the holiday company to-day with my in depth knowledge of the Package Travel Regulations Act 1992.
Wish me luck.
