Of course you are Ashleigh, but if you're like me, next birthday you'll be 26 - I'm going backwards - just don't tell the Pensions People!
My back has this silly idea that it should lounge around not doing a lot - that may have been the way of things when I was working and stuck in offices and cars - now I'm retired my back has got to get used to doing a few more things!
At long last I've sown some sweet peas - they're on the dining room windowsill but as soon as they peek their little heads above the compost they're going out into the cold frame.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Seeds are chillies courtesy of lovely Stacey, bare roots are geraniums (which are actually called something else but I can't remember what!) and strawberries - all free except for P&P from GW and the plants were a laurel and another Gaultehria as I think they are quite pretty and want to feed the birds, both reduced of course.....and very good jumpers (winky face because my smilies aren't working ha ha).
I've had no energy to do very much for the last few days, ongoing for a few weeks now. At last the doc has sent me for blood tests this morning to try and get to the bottom of the problem. I have a garden I want to do so much with but no energy to do it!!
Snap, it's so frustrating isn't it, I have M.E. and whilst I'm better now than I have been for years I still have to pace myself. Hope your blood test comes back with something relatively easy to remedy, could be low in iron or vitamin D? My nurse told me a third of adults in the uk are D deficient in the winter and it can affect energy levels, feel better soon
Thanks Ashleigh and poor you with ME, my mum has that and I'm hoping it's nothing as serious but as you say something simple like iron or vit D deficiency.
Ah I'm sorry your Mum has it Tracey it is a horrible illness I was pretty much bedridden for years but started having weekly jabs of huge doses of B12 and although not a cure I have moved from existing to living.
Dove yes going backwards is definitely the way forward my back also doesn't like sitting up, just laying down or standing up but my legs don't like standing up !
It must be the season for bad backs at the moment! Mine (broke it in many places and never really "healed") keeps giving the niggles and a lass at work is walking around like she's about to give birth her back hurts so much (but only when she's near the MDs office - the floor must be sloped pushing her out of line or something).
Amazing the amount of people who have their own tales of bad backs - they really do mess you up when they're not working!

Ouch Clarington! how did you do that?
A car driver took offence to my cycling to work.
Ouch is not an ouchy enough word, much sympathy.
