I was wondering that as I read it needs about 30 days very cold to make the cloves. Guess we'll all be eating large bulbs then
My daughter has ME. Was very poorly for a long time but just about copes with normal life now. She was taught PACE and it helps. Fortunately she has a lovely partner who came one day to see me without her (his idea)to learn how to cope/handle her if she was having a bad time. Now he really looks after her
Have been in search for rose feed today - also have mulched one bed (own compost) and put feed underneath as after all this rain soil must need it. Then started weeding a border put in last year - mainly bitter cress and germinated acorns
My daughter had glandular fever at 11 years old and was really ill - following that she developed ME which blighted most of her teens and twenties and she had to drop out of her degree - it's only when she was in her 30s that she's been able to complete her education and start a career - her hub has health problems too. Life has been tough for both of them, but they're a lovely couple and make a fantastic team.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Evening all What a lovely day (outside) it has been. Have a Guide meeting tonight so will be off out soon. They always seem to go on for ever, well, you know how women can get when we chatter together
Evening all. Did you resist the temptation star gaze?
Day of mixed weather today - sunshine most of the day then rain in the afternoon. At work so unfortunately no time in the garden. Hope the weekend is more promising!
