    Wind still howling.

Cleared some cobwebs with a short walk up on the moors.

Now making home made burgers, with a rich tomato sauce for supper. No idea when OH will return from work.

Glad being home is suiting you Hosta.

    Thanks guys .

I've been onto citizens advice and they've given me the relevant acts of parliament to quote to both holiday company and credit card company.

Called hospital re "the knee" , pre op nurse needs to speak to me again ( Wed 3pm) then they can set date, but looks more like next month than this. image. Hey ho, at least things are moving in the right direction.

Hope the weather in Scotland isn't too bad, but at least they cope better up there than us soft Southerners.

Dove, if you happen to pop in, what was the name of that French restaurant you went to in London, please?

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hazel, hope there's not too much damage and disruption up there - hang onto your hat!  Looks pretty horrid in Scotland http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-35467524

It's pretty gusty and noisy even down here in Norfolk image

Morning - hope all are safe.  Was in London last night, and even there the wind was whistling round the skyscrapers.  Arrived at my meeting looking slightly tousled and windsweptimage
