Good evening , just got back from Lincoln Christmas Market , feet throbbing , now got a beer so feeling better !image

  • Hello all!

I've just had a quick peruse of what you've all been getting up to... lots of wet windiness about by the sounds of it - plus wildness in the hair department, shared by yours truly.

I'm heartily impressed by your bargaining prowess, RB!  I'm afraid I'm not very good at complaining... will have to come to you and Verdun for lessons I think image

DD, achey knees and ankles sounds as if you may have a temperature.  Can you get an early night?  Plenty of rest sounds a good idea!

Hope for good news from the Chicky family soon.

Back to Christmas card writing I fear...

    xx

What a night! We have had a heavy and unexpected fall of snow. About 4 "

Just stopped now. Caused chaos and with no gritters out the village has been gridlocked.  OH have been out with the 4x4

all classes in the studio cancelled word got out in the nick of time

i was dared to put a foot over the doorstep but even the tv went off with a tiny wee bit f snow stuck in the important bit, thank goodness we put it n the wall of the garden and not the house!.,

hope everyone else is snug and cosy

I saw the early evening news LP - and they were forecasting a big dod of snow right across central and southern Scotland. Hasn't arrived here - yet - perhaps we won't get it...been lucky so far image

    Stay tucked up image

I think they were caught out Fairy, it started about 5 and not a grittier in sight

It was horrible sleet here at that time LP. Not many hills between me and the coast so not quite cold enough for it to become snow. It's supposed to come in later tonight. They're saying it'll turn back to rain. Hope it doesn't give you any problems. Nice to look at - from inside!

The snow started about 4.30 here and we've had 3" but it's on the wane now.  Hopefully the temperature won't drop down to freezing point.  Don't you dare cross the threshold LilyP.

Rb I don't think you would get my money back for my hair.  My hairdresser would claim that she can't make a silk purse out of a sow's earimage.  Thanks for the offer thoughimage

Morning all. The snow must be a shock to the system for you up there. I'd be staying in, too. image

Morning Runny. I suppose I'd better drag myself out of bed and face the day. HRH is letting me know that 9 o'clock is getting up time even though she has already had a morning outside walk.

Cloudy and cool here, but hot predicted - high 20s I think. I'll be thinking about you all with your cold snow or rain. The tV last reported heavy falls in the US, but nothing about UK.  Keep snuggled as you can.
