I've just been reading your blog Clarington, really interesting and the pond will look great. I'm intrigued about the man cave and looking forward to seeing that
My first day out of bed for two weeks yesterday has knocked the stuffing out of me a bit, although not as much as falling off the ladder in the first place, so a quiet day reading and planning I think.
I admire your determination in going for a yomp each day Dove, I wish I could persuade myself to do it, I could certainly do with some major weight loss.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Punkdoc, I read somewhere that it's good to have a bit of padding as you get older as it helps guard against fractures when we fall - maybe you need a bit more?
And I have to admit that as I set off just now it started tipping down again, so I'm back indoors again - there are some days that are just not made for walking
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I loved your blog Clari. One I'll watch along with Higgie's.
I heard on the radio that they are developing a drone that can identify weeds then zap them with lasers. We'll all be able to garden from our armchairs. How long will it be before we are asking on this forum how to reprogramme our drones because they've zapped the dahlias instead of the dandelions or given the neighbour a nasty shock when she went outside in a flowery dress?
Morning all. Horrible outside today, raining, cold 1°. If it gets colder we'll have snow. Must look at the forecast.
Been reading your blog Clari, great stuff, how do you get time? I expect the pond looks smaller now it's in. I think it looks about the right size for the space.
Hope you feel better today puncdoc.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

More to the point, please can they develop a drone that will zap (in the kindest possible way of course) the strange black and white moggie that's suddenly decided my raised bed is it's favourite loo

Well, i needed to do something that made me think Spring gardens, so I have sown my sweet peas, 3 to a 3inch pot. They will stay indoors till they germinate, then out to cold greenhouse and, hopefully months of colour and scent.
