    Thanks all for comments on my pics - he has a welding machine panda - new toy this summer.  He has made a pair of the planters, and has done me obelisks and peony baskets as well.  Here are some more pics to take your mind off the ironing

     took these yesterday - all looks tidier now as pots are now stowed away.  All hatches now battened - we are bracing ourselves

    I've been and put a board over last years leaf pile to stop it blowing away. I combined 2 builders bags that I used last year, into one, to release a bag for this years. I will bag up the remainder of the tonne of rock dust into smaller bags, to release that builder bag, and we have two bags for this years oak leaves.

    All garden furniture in garage for winter. Its getting windy now, ironing sounds too drastic. I might bake a cake or some flapjacks. OH has to drive south at silly o clock tomorrow, might not be a good idea.

    Don,t fancy walking in the woods near us Stacey,too much risk of falling branches.
