I can get any amount of **** that I want because I work at an equestrian centre! Got a good few bags down on the newly created beds last summer and covered them, so I'll be taking a look at them soon. Some went in the new compost bin as well and the compost is looking quite good too.
You're right about the white camellias Verd - I had a very pale pink one in a previous garden and it was the same. They can get decimated here when it's wet and windy - which it usually is when they're flowering.
But - in a darkish corner and viewed from the house on a dull day...they are beautiful
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I need some horse poo, I'm going to speak to the local farmer later and then will be asking advice what to do with it!!
Stacey, owwwwww indeed, hope it's better soon. Can you get some Tiger Balm from anywhere, magic stuff and fixed my eldest son's rugby injuries several times.
Busy garden day for me - (not in order) - made 2nd compost bin, put both in situ, wrapped both in tarpaulin, emptied tardis bin into new one, rehoused several foxgloves and a peony which were in the compost site, dug it over semi level, cut grass, potted on 3x cerinthes and started some of the many allium green hairy seedlings. Emptied and rearranged GH ready for sowing seeds and dragged 2 bags compost from car to back garden (if all goes to plan that will be a job I don't need to do next year). Coffe and lunch planned. (Hmmm so much for HW!)
