All this talk of lovely food and I'm on leftovers for the week until Hubby gets home.
For me the jury is out on lobster. Only had it once and thought it's a thin line between something with a subtle flavour, and something which is just bland.
Lyn, you really are just too kind. I'm planning on an hour or so each day this week to get away from doing our accounts which have to be done before we go away next Sunday.
BBC1 for me this evening having set MD to record. Might sneak it in before bed if I can stay awake.
I think lobster has to be really fresh. The best I had was in the middle of the red sea, for christmas day lunch. The divemasters caught them the night before.
Panda: I find Red Bull copes well with migraines: caffeine is meant to help kill a migraine (funny since it often sets them off in the first place!) And if nothing else you're so full of sugar bouncing off the walls that you wont care...
Someone has been setting off fire works and the dog has had a complete melt down. It doesn't help that something has freaked him out so that he's now scared of the windowsill in the hallway (he's been fine with it until this weekend!) So can't settle.
Over 200 children visiting the museum this week: I've got my vitamins and disinfectant at the ready! Did I tell you I asked my boss about my holiday allowance (expiring at the end of December) ? Turns out if I'm on holiday from 1st December (I've a school in that day so wont happen!) I'd be off until the 11th January ??? Guess I really have been working hard
Lobster, or in our terms, crayfish, were a childhood regular for me. My father and his mate used to go out every second Wednesday and swim out to rocks and grab them from under rocks. Wouldn't catch me doing that with eels hanging about in those crevices. They'd bring back a supply in sugar bags. Mum used to boil the copper (pre washing machine days) and cook them in that. Very good memories of tasty meals.
I will bear that in mind Clari Often I can't keep things down when I have a migraine but you never know.... Hope you manage to stay healthy.... Dare you to go on holiday

Yes indeed. Except that I've now bought a boat and it's at the other end of the country...
