  • Thanks for all the good wishes .

Still in bed at the mo, hubby brought me up some breakfast  and painkillers. Must get up and plant out my poor Hellebours today before the next lot of bad weather hits.

    Morning all.

Thanks for all the welcome home messages. It was indeed lovely to be in my own bed last night.

Weather is foul. Blowing a gale and raining, but I'm still glad to be back.

Polytunnel has had a touch of frost , but not enough to knock back the hedychiums and cannas. I'll have a proper look later.

Hubby doing bacon butties for breaky. Yummity yum.

Hope you're feeling better Pat and that the weather is causing too much havoc for everyone.

Morning all, gallons of tea to wake me up after family engagement party last night. Grandaughter full of plans and looking at venues, I told Ron my loans are cheaper than wonga. The good news was Grandson in the Vale of York and Granddaughter in Canada will both be bringing new born Sons to see me next Christmas, yippy I will start to buy mechano and dinky toys now. Hosta had two years of middle east and only went back once, 1956, never missed it or the flies mosies kite hawks, did miss the clear starry heaves though, that was something you remember.
