  • Blimey, so many comments in the time it took me to catch up and reply. I'm too slow for this thread, mentally and physically! Like the party idea though, I'm quick on the uptake there!imageimageimageimageimage He He, just cos I canimage. took me long enough to figure the smilies too, so now over used. Can we get more of them, they are addictive, but limited.

Lucky Panda and chicky. I got a plant 2 wks ago that I didn't remember ordering, from T&M. No label, and dormant (potted) Then I thought, hrs of puzzling later (duh) to look at the postage label. It was my FREE carolina allspice (forget the proper name just now.) Ordered Months ago with my last tesco voucher spreeeeee! So nice to get something unexpected.

I AM going for that bath now, and hoping for some of your sun tomorrow. We had some am, but by the time I finished grooming dogs it was raining againimage. Maybe I'll just have to stay in, sowing too many seeds!

  • Hi everyone, again.Daniel as suggested that I try a different browser so here goes.I'm so sorry for all the bother you've had on here.I've been following what's been happening and I must admit I would have been taken in.It made me so angry that one miserable coward has to try and ruin it for everyone. We cannot let it win. This thread is so friendly and kind it needs to keep going.I am hoping to join you all more in three weeks, hopefully, when I retire. At the moment I work in a nursery and out of school club so children range from age 2 to 10 which I love but I will be glad to hand it over to the younger staff and spend as much time as I want in my garden.I love allsorts of flowers especially fuchsias, though I am no expert. Also love lilies, delphiniums, roses, pinks and of course, sweet peas.I just hope I can keep up with you all.You all seem to know each other so well and I don't always read who has sent the posts.I,ll have to make sure I do that.Hope to talk to you all tomorrow.Looks like Daniel has solved my problems as I'm still here.I'll send him a PM and thank him.

Hi Pink, I have actually only been on here a few weeks, maybe a month I'm not sure.  I thought the same as you, that everyone knew each other so well and I wouldn't fit in, but everyone is soooooo friendly and now I am starting to feel like I have always been here.  I hope you will feel the same and glad that at last you got your posts sorted out so you can join in image

I'm off now, night everyone and let's hope for sunshine everywhere tomorrow image X

Pinkie - glad to see you are up and running - welcome to the clan.

Lizzie - roots wrapped in kitchen towel - dawn expedition to GH planned!

Tracey - think i have the same geranium offer as you, but mine arrived last weekend - they are hardy ones so should be fine potted up in a sheltered space - mine are throwing up leaves already.

panda - just had a good look at your new hellebore - stunning.  I have purple hellebore envy big timeimage

Thanks Chicky, and should I put them in individual pots or will one big one be ok.  I presume they will be ok to move to a more permanent position at some point?

I potted mine up individually - they should all make good size plants and can be planted out late springimage

  • Thanks chicky and Tracey.I am really looking forward to it.Forgot to say,I have got the hellebore bug after seeing all your pictures and having some success in my garden though Ididn't think it was suitable. It's clay soil but it gets sun all day till about 8 at night in the summer.Have just ordered some more tonight.

  • Thanks Verdun.I'll do that.I want to give them the best chance.I can't believe how lovely the 3 I've got are looking and how many flowers are on them.I was just worried whether they would be ok in the hot sun, assuming we get some.
