We watched the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race this afternoon - at Geelong. It was very good and the winner was a young fellow from the Isle of Man. British champion, I think. Also saw the highlights of Serena Williams getting beaten in the tennis. The doubles are on now.
Good morning all G'day Pat So glad that you're feeling a bit better - don't overdo it
My brother and his wife are on their way to Aus, via Sri Lanka - they'll be visiting our cousin and his family in Tasmania a bit later on. Last time he was your way he got bitten by a spider on the plane and was very ill

About high 20s mostly, but because we're in the mountains, it's a bit different to coastal regions. Are you aware that there has been huge bushfires in northwest Tassie. Tasmanian fires service, fire.tas.gov.au.
Nice to hear from you again Pat - glad you're feeling a bit more like it.
I was absent on your b'day Dove but belated many Happy Returns. Sounds as though you had a good time with Wonky
OH has just left for work. For once I don't mind an early start on a Sunday - about to dive in the shower & then I'll be settling down to watch the tennis with coffee and toast. Well done to the boys in the doubles yesterday & Gordon Reid who won the wheelchair final - be good if we can do the hat trick today
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I've got a busy morning ahead as I'm planning to do the bird count while I listen to the arches and prep the veg and make a pudding as MIL's arriving for lunch and wants to be taken to Homebase as well ........... do you think you could watch the tennis for me .... it's the only way I'll be able to do it

Am off to do a First Response course for Guides as my old first aid qualification has run out Too early for a Sunday! Hoping the instructor is understanding as there is no way I can kneel down to do CPR!
