OH is out for a bit, so I've jumped on his laptop to say Hi to you all, before I make tracks for Scotland (6.27 train tomorrow). I shall make the most of the smileys too! Hopefully I'll manage to reach the island tomorrow. 2 ferries have been cancelled today, and the first one tomorrow won't run either - but maybe the wind will drop... otherwise I'll have to patronise the backpackers' hostel and hope for better weather on Wednesday.

Think the weather's to be slightly better tomorrow Liri - not that it would be hard! Look at the Met Office weather online - it's about the most accurate normally. You might feel a bit on the way over

Gym this morning, then a lot of shopping before getting home and chiselling the floor up. Ridiculously dusty which meant a lot of cleaning afterwards so I am well and truly exhausted
But one for the boys. ..I got to play with OH's Titan drill, it's the baby of those things they use on the roads me thinks so much fun
Bought more tulips in town, sssshh, don't tell my other half
Blowy here too, but have 'trimmed' the holly hedge (trying to leave as many berries on it as poss) and built a temporary (don't ask) cage for those and other leaves.
Now off out for a 5k walk to try and remove some of the excellent dinner we've just eaten. TTFN

Blowing a gale here, can't even face the walk to the orchard, to close the greenhouse.
Nothing achieved here today, I was so bored, I even started tidying up and bagging up old clothes, to give to charity.
Baked salmon and ratatouille for supper.
