10 o'clock, and alls well, as they say. I've had enough tonight so not long for sleep. Son and cats already fed and off to their end of the house for a good nights sleep. Hubby and I likewise at our end of the house. Can't keep my eyes open. Will catch all tmmorrow. Hope to hear good news for Lilypilly med visits.
Back from raiding Waitrose - I remembered the 25% off 6 boottles of wine that Hosta so kindly arranged for us and have emptied their shelves and filled our garage.
Liri - glad your Mum's move went well and she's not been upset by it.
Chicky - good news re OH and I'm sure you're feeling a little less tense about it all
Yvie - what lovely news
Sweet dreams Pat

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Lyn - I read A Handful of Dust which I enjoyed, but it was a very long time ago. Brideshead always makes my cry when I read it. Jeremy Irons was excellent too - Ryder wasn't a particularly nice character but I cried for him as well at the end. Superb piece of writing isn't it? Did you know they were originally to be cast the other way round? I can't imagine Irons as Sebastian at all. I've got a special edition box set of it, with lots of bits behind the scenes. I'd forgotten all about the strike at the time which meant they had to have a different director
Lovely news for you Yvie
Saw your lovely pic on the camera thread Steve. It's a beauty.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
If it's worth saying, LilyP it's worth saying twice
'Bootles'??? hic
Typing with fingers smelling of onion and garlic while they're softening on the hob ready to make a tagine for supper - on Saturday Wonky kept talking about the tagines she makes and when Waitrose didn't have the shin of beef I wanted for a casserole for this evening, the only thing that would come into my brain was 'lamb for a tagine' so that's what we're having
OH has gone into the city on his bike for an eye test He doesn't wear glasses, but as an artist his vision is incredibly important to him, so he has regular tests - and 'cos he's a sensible chap

Just wandered over to the orchard, to open the greenhouse and was delighted to see some Fieldfares feasting on windfalls.
