Thanks for all the info on the alliums - definitely sounds the way to go (&much nicer standing in the potting shed with the radio on than slipping around in the mud) image

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs KEF - hope you get something nice to eat!

Congratulations too to Yvie & family - glad you've had such positive news.

P'doc - I haven't done much either today - time of year - 100's of jobs on my list - crossing them off 1 at a time - putting them on 2 at a time image

Hosta - Did you drink all the gin last night? Always a medicinal restorative I find image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Hosta, just watching the news and seemed to remember you mentioning a trip to the sun soon, was it Sharm?

    Evening all

Really pleased test results are good in the Yvie household, enjoy the celebrations! You deserve a drink image

Not sure what Hosta has done to deserve his imageimage maybe that should be the quiz?

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs KEF, that's a long time washing someone else's smalls image you deserve a treat, besides the curry and Prime Suspect

Dinner time for me, not too tired today since i took half a day off from decorating to shop for worktops and new switches, got the worktop cut into pieces but didn't think about getting it in the car until I got outside. Luckily my dinky little car managed to swallow the biggest piece in the front seat  (I only just got the door shut!) Oh well, all the fun of it I guess image

Ceiling and coving now painted, walls tomorrow and worktops fitted when the end trims get delivered by a mail order company, none sold at diy centre believe it or not image

It will be worth it W'song. When you look back and recall what it was like before, you'll wonder how you managed! I've done so many decorating jobs, from gutting existing rooms to extensions and new kitchens, that this house was a relief in many ways.

So I did the garden instead image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
