Oh DD, I can sympathise, I have just got over the same thing and mine went to the ear also so it is a good thing you have antibiotics quickly! Here's wishing you a speedy recovery! X

  • Thanks all,

Can't sleep now the pain is so bad and there is a constant ringing/ whistling in my ear. WW, I do hope I am not as bad as I know you have been, it sounded awful.

Normally I am hardly ever ill but these last few weeks have been horrible, I really am getting fed up with it. image

Might have some more painkillers, last lot don't seem to have had enough effect. Sorry to be so downbeat, just tossing and turning in bed is really getting to me.

Evening all. Have just woken and read back the last couple of days. Thanks for all your good wishes. I had a very bad day yesterday and cautiously hoping today will be better.  DD hope you can get the infection under control soon - very uncomfortable.

not much to say about out weather - stinking hot one day and cold the next. We both had track suits on and the heater set to 23c all day yesterday.

DD, you will sleep when you stop trying is what I found, hubby left me asleep on the sofa in the basement one night just cuz he was amazed I was asleep! I'm on day two with no painkillers now! image it will get better, but I know I would have happily laid on a train track if the windy walk to the station wouldn't hurt the ear infection as well as the tooth! image I found co codimol helped after eight ibrubrofen a day didn't work! image try bonjella, I found it soothed instantly! Best wishes x

Thought you might like to see the self-seeded Cosmos that are keeping my onions company, they don't seem to mind each other!

Hello Ginger if you're inside at 2.45pm. Probably not. It started off cool today, but is warming up a bit too much now.

  • Hi Pat, Just did a reply and it disappeared. I'm good in the garden but not with computers!!

Spent this morning mowing and spraying and then got too hot. After lunch I thought I'd have a go at putting a photo on here but not succeeding. Got the tool bar, clicked on the little green tree and got to choose My computer but then no options for uploading a photo. Any ideas?

Love your Cosmos. I've got lots of daisy type flowers and they always look so cheerful. Hardy too.

Me too, Ginger. It might depend on what system you're on, but I'm hopeless at that stuff. hubby is the computer person. What I do:

    touch the tree

    select

    camera roll

    touch the photo

    when its visible, touch upload

and sit back and wait, and wait until it appears on your message.

A word of caution - I find it's a good idea to go into your photo before all of this, and edit it so that its not too big. I use an iPad mini, so it fails if I don't do this. Good luck.

  • Glad I'm not the only one Pat.

Grrrrrr now I've lost the little tool bar as well.

I'm going back to my garden and will try this a bit later. I've got a whole lot of seedlings to pot up. I'm sure I'll have more success there.
