Woody I have my lawn dressing 3 bags of stuff ready and waiting to do again me new to all this lawn stuff only done a bit last year other than cutting the grass.
One area of the garden had a shelter on - moss really bad there, grass was brown when took shelter down so did not scarify that bit of lawn let it get nice and watered by rain green now just lots of moss. Will need to buy lots of lawn seed as lots of bare ground as well
Afternoon all Am enjoying the lunchtime sun Had to put my coat on though as there is a bit of a breeze and my skirt is a trifle flighty, to say the least
Back from my trip. It was freezing and blowing a gale. There were 2 foot waves on the reservoir so not much chance of seeing any birds.
Did wander about a bit and the Lapwings are back. We have them Spring and Summer and today there were about 40, it was like watching film of the Battle of Britain. They are such amazing fliers.
Also a few Red Grouse and some Fieldfares stripping the berries off a Hawthorn.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I have been busy today, potted up some dahlias and other summer bulbs. I've planted six of my new hellebores. A robin was hopping around looking for worms, and a sleepy queen bumble appeared.I need a bigger greenhouse.I need to work out what can go outside soon.
