Glad you had a good day Dove & nice to hear Hosta is on the end - I would be getting very upset abt fellow guests though.
Flumpy - Pat has been feeling a bit low & she's a bit crook with the tummy thing again, so we've not seen too much of her the last few days - miss her chat but she pops in when she feels up to it.
OH has agreed to rake out one of my compost bins as 'something' has been burrowing under the edge. When he's done the brave bit I'll go out to refill the bin and reinforce the anti rodent defences which had always worked until now. I knew I'd put it all back together again too quickly in September after emptying the bin. It was hissing down at the time though... It will also give the rotting veggies a good stir & be a bit of exercise in the fresh air.
Good excuse for coffee & cake when we've finished!
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
He was getting shirty with me because that's the arm of the bench in front of him - and his grub's underneath! I wasn't hanging around either - it was a bit chilly
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I get a little envious seeing all these snowy pictures and reading stories of snow. Still hot here with a bit more rain. Closest thing we've had lately was a hail storm last week.
Wondered whether you would get caught up in the lumiere thing Dove - but sounds like it made your day better
Spent yesterday with my foot up, reading a really good book. Think a repeat performance will be required today to finish it. And maybe a midday wander round the garden to see what's growing.
Morning all, what a lovely picture. Extra food put out this morning for my birds as its a lot colder than yesterday so will have to settle myself with potting on the plants I got yesterday.

Disappointingly grey here....no snow for us
