Happy Anniversary Kef. Enjoy your cosy night in. Saw a smart quip today that said you know you are in a steady relationship when a 'quiet night in watching a movie' is exactly that, made me smile, certainly true in this house.
OH not a patient any more, all fit and well, but still not quite getting the idea of diet and exercise, we discussed 'rewards' for doing some exercise - he said he is not a b****y dog.
Wish we had a takeaway place, never mind one that delivered, no chance around here. Never thought I would miss such a thing. My mum used to moan on occasion about slaving over a hot stove, we all used to sigh heavily and raise eyebrows - think I have turned into my mum.
Still no nearer preparing anything - you lot are such a bad influence.

Have a lovely evening Mr and Mrs KEF. Just go easy on the snuggling....
KNow what you mean about the parkas - eventually you start to look like ET ...
DD - re cooking dinners - yes, every day
T'bird - I did alliums in pots two years ago when I'd moved here and there was nowhere to put the. I had Verb bonariensis seedlings in the same pots and stuck them out in the following spring. Worked well
Yvie - I know how worked up these tests can make you. Got myself in a terrible state with first daughter - I was an older mother and made to feel I must have them. When I was having my second, I told them I didn't want any tests, even though I'd had two miscarriages. Since they're not conclusive, and it wasn't going to affect what I did, there was no point. I would have had her even if she'd had three heads. It can make you feel dreadfully stressed. So glad all is well and you can look forward to the new addition x
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thanks for all your good wishes, I had a bit of a scare too with firstborn Fairy but the tests weren't really that reliable then and some were quite invasive and could be dangerous to the baby. The new DNA tests can be done with just blood samples but you can't have them on the NHS you have to pay private. They can't even do the separation in this country they send the samples to California for analysis. It gives 99.5% accuracy on a wide range of potential problems. Thankfully they were in a position to be able to afford the tests I can't imagine waiting the whole 9 months with it hanging over your head. It was an abnormality in Secondborn's blood test that flagged the problem.
