Morning all. Hope work is OK Fairy. Hello Blackest. Not seen WUM, not looking.

No plans again for today, watched Beechgrove ep 3 (thanks Fairy, Lily did you find it ?) and may have another look at hydrangea paniculata. Also should paint arch no.1 to match decking, then I can get on with tying climbers to it.image Stll waiting for arch no.s 2&3, but they should stay natural colour.

Hope weather holds off, have a good day everyone.

Morning Allimage.  Last day of freedom before work tomorrowimage.  Will prick out all my seedlings and pot on those that i did a couple of weeks ago - a GH day.  Weather nice after yesterday's drenching, so expect to see plants visibly growing today.

How about a couple of flowering shrubs, as well as perennials, to give your long, bare border some structure, Blackest??

Yes thank you MrsG,  (and fairy)  very helpful. Looked at mine again on saturday, there are a few tiny shoots coming through. So hopefully its not a dead stick!

Seeing family today, so will be a lovely day.image

Morning all image A bit cloudy here but so far the sun is just getting through and it's warm.  Had a rubbish rain shower in the night, the oath was dry again by this morning so not enough, I will be out with the watering can later if we don't get rain today image

Will catch up more later, I need to get some weeding done before the boys get back from the driving range image

  • Good morning all lots of jobs to do today thanks to help I received last night from mike & lyn lets hope the rain holds off although I do have a new water butt that needs feeling so if it does its a bit of bonus enjoy your day all image

I'm going to plant out some of the aquilegias I bought from Touchwood last year - I've been nurturing them carefully in their pots since importing them into England image

but now I have a space ready for them in the new front border image

OK, what do I do with these sweet peas now? I don't follow the sweet pea thread as I should so will have missed any advice on there.

Not an expert Mrs G, but they don't look like any sweetpeas i have ever grown - are you sure you have the right pots ??
