So, what happened to the rain! Clouds came and went and clouds returned still no rain and according to the BBC weather site non to come over the next 5 days (yesterday it said heavy rain overnight).  It is cooler though.  Still itching but going round the garage in a mo to pick up some tablets, cream hasnt done a thing.  I still want to know why the little blighters like me so much.  Hubby never gets a bite.  Ive heard so many different theories about why some people get bit and others dont but none seems to fit.  What I dont understand is as its only female mozzies that bite you'd think they would show a bit of feminine solidarity and only bite men!  Might cheer myself up in a bit and visit the GC. I think the new book I'm reading was sponsored by garden centres as since reading the damn thing Ive started to see all sorts of things about the garden that I want to change, its a great book but it has a lot to answer for.

Morning all. Bit of rain overnight  here which was badly needed and a bit cooler for sleeping. rain didn't wake me either Pauline image

I don't get bitten either Yvie, even the midges don't like me much thankfully. There was a talk on Jeremy Vine's show on Radio 2 the other day with a prof /expert of some kind and a lot of it is down to smell. Some people's 'smell' attracts them. Make of that what you will! imageimage

Glad you had a good time Dove. image

I know I'm your favourite Verd, but I'll pass on the chilli 'present' thanks image
