    Good morningimage

Hard to imagine your hot, dry weather David.  I must take you hours to water.

Glad you had a good weekend Panda.  Loved those vegetable carvingsimage

Had to laugh about your dinner last night Fidgetimage  I have been known to do very similar banquets.

Edit as I've just seen you chicky.  Sounds an interesting evening in store.

Good luck today DD - I'm sure that the inspector will be very impressedimage

Have a good day (even though it's Monday)image

Chicky - huge Rembrandt fans here - we have a London trip planned after Christmas so are hoping to see it then.

There's frost on the roofs around here this morning - none on the ground and the temp in the back garden only dropped to 3.7C, but obviously low enough for the first air frost of the winter.

    Morning everyone.

    25' David! Wow!

Good luck DD, dont be too nervous!

Breaking news - all the walls are papered! At last! Got birds flying all over the place! So different to plain white walls we had before.

Chicky, my favourite purchase for the decorating spree is a LS Lowry cushion, I wanted Lowry wallpaper but can only find 'something based on Lowry mixed with a scanda navian theme', nice though. Enjoy your rembrant evening.

Work today, but dont think ill be busy.

Morning Dove. Morning MrsG.  Glad your decorating is finished.  Funnily enough I was browsing through a Museum Collection catalogue that came with the newspaper yesterday and they  have a couple of Lowry cushions in there.  I've always had a soft spot for his work.

Not sure why but I've also always had a soft spot for Lowry too, step son thinks its awful and has never heard of Lowry. What do you think of a Lowry cushion as an Xmas present , got someone in mind but just cos I like it doesn't mean everyone will!

    Morning all!

Anyone else want to just stay in bed today?

Morning all. Cloudy here but not sure how cold as I've not been outside yet. Work for me anyway so probably won't get anything done outside later unless I put the outdoor lights on!

Daughter's boyfriend is from California - near the coast - and he said they've had a drought there ever since he was born 20 years ago. He was quite enjoying the lashing rain here on Saturday image

    Fingers crossed DD image

I often have meals like that too fidget - using up leftovers is my speciality image

Off for a quick look round before I go. Have a good day everyone image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
