Tried to put horse muck on empty beds, watered well first ...BIG MISTAKE -puppy had other ideas! He has been chasing the water, i couldnt catch him for laughing! My cream kitchen floor is no longer cream, i dont think it will ever be the same again!
KEF, we ended up with that stupid big telly, dunno whats the matter with them, why do they need to fill a room with the tv???? Hope you get it sorted soon
Now this little moster has tired himself out, tugging on my hair from the back of the sofa, i may try to have a nap myself
Right, anyone who has been working in any way, shape or form, FEET UP!
Evening all. Visited an open garden in Sholing today. A small garden packed with plants. They were also selling plants and veg/jam/chutney. Only two plants and some runner beans came home with me.
Both plants are phlox, one is an unknown colour and the other is pale purple.
They had massive tomatoes in their greenhouse and the cucumbers looked brilliant. They were draped all around the top of the greenhouse, tied gently with string to the windows so that the cucumbers could hang down from the plants.
Just off to bed - another busy day tomorrow. Night all.
Morning Fellow Forkers, looks like I'm first up. Already mopped floors cleaned kitchen and finally dusted. Now this is not because I'm an early riser and love housework. Its mainly because I got bit to death again in the garden yesterday and am itching all over with no antihistamine. Today I'm plastered in industrial strength insect repellant and will head to chemist as soon as one is open.
Good morning all we got back last night - had a chinese takeaway and went to sleep all seems well in the garden - proper inspection to be done later but nothing looks parched and withered so son has done good!
Driving to Lincs on Friday was SO HOT even with the top down - OH kept rubbing my arms and shoulders with sun cream as I was driving along - made lorry drivers chuckle!!!
Had lovely time with his family eating his sister's birthday cake (made by 12 year old niece) and visiting other sister's new horse, and going to pub for cooling drinks. Not a drop of rain anywhere and still scorchio on the way back yesterday evening!
I've had a quick read back - glad hedgehog is on the road to recovery Fidget.
The rest of you seem to be coping ok with bites, stings, tvs, puppies, aubergines and OHs

Good morning Yviestevie and Dove and all
We've had some rain overnight and it is slightly cooler today so I intend to actually do something instead of sitting and thinking about it
Yvie sympathies itching isn't good
I'm fortunate critters don't seem to like me.
Dove, any excuse for a massage
glad garden has been looked after well.
Bekkie I don't think you'll want to give that puppy back
