I'm starving here OH went out to play bridge at 2 and I don't know when he's due back . . . can't decide whether to have last nights leftovers or wait for him
Morning all. It's taken me ages to read back and can't remember much. Except the little cat, the poor old sick dog, GWRS's wife having a bad back, and other bits and pieces. HRH decided it was time for an outside visit at 3am, so of course then I couldn't get back to sleep for ages. Now I'm feeling dopey and it's almost 9am. I probably should get up, but not feeling very enthusiastic about it, I can relate to having an elderly dog. She will be 14 in January and is showing various signs of ageing, such as the need to get up in the middle of the night. I'm confident some of us can understand that particular little ageing process.
i think there is rain predicted today - it's certainly overcast at the moment.
I'm probably going to continue a job I started yesterday. It's my own fault, but some time ago i found an old packet of mixed white flower seeds that was years out of date, so I cleverly sprinkled them over a tray of plastic cells with seed raising compost, thinking they'd come to nothing. I think every seed germinated! So now I'm trying to separate them into small pots until I can work out what they all are. I wonder if I kept the packet? Will have a look later.
Best wishes for an enjoyable evening and a good day tomorrow.

Thanks RB. He hated his bath, poor old thing, good thing I tied a soft shoe lace round his nose. He's so gentle except when being brushed or bathed.
Like the look of Dove's drink. Perhaps I should catch a cold!
We're stuffed with beef hotpot, buttered Savoy cabbage and Cotes du Rhone ........... I'm on the sofa and can't get off - thankfully OH is washing up.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

You can have one while you're waiting Panda...not iced yet though, but I don't let a small issue like that stop me snaffling them...
