Runny beak , do you have an Apple shop / dealer near by , I had a problem and went into the one in Lincoln , they could not have been more helpful , problem quickly sorted and no charge
Hello all 7.15am and awake, reluctantly. A peep through the curtains reveals fog. I'm not looking forward to the trip to Canberra. We had a bad night with the poodle. She got me up twice and Hubby up twice to go out for urgent walkies. Hubby not best pleased and is drinking coffee in his computer room. I think he should come back to bed for a couple of hours but have another nap, but he's too irritated to relax.
Verdun, you're welcome to beat those football players - I've no interest in them. It's hard to imagine you with an Aussie accent, I always think of you as sounding like Sir Tom. Do you also sing?
Interesting to read the iPad problems. I've had similar things happening since the last update. Thankfully, Hubby is good at fixing computer stuff, so I just hand it over to him. I'm currently awkwardly holding the iPad while connected to the power cord in order to get the thing fully charged before being disconnected by the power company.
The other irritating phone call thing I tried at one time was to just leave the phone on the table with them yakking away which effectively tied their line up. It only worked a couple of times and then they simply tried again when I eventually put the phone back.
i probably won't catch up again for several hours, so have a good day when yours arrives.
I thought that was scots men! Am I getting my regional accents confused. I sometimes wonder what the manx men sound like. Some of Hubby's ancestors came from the Isle of Man and my limited knowledge of the history of the area is that they were a mix of Irish and Scots. I do know that our famous singers The Bee Gees came from there And of course one of the best cyclists on the Tours comes from there. (Cavendish).

Runny, turn the whole thing completely off, my switch is on the left hand side, you can then reboot, try that first and let us know.
Sorry RB I see you have cured it x

Oh yes! Love Tom Jones. besides, I was under the impression that all welsh men could sing well.
