Have actually done some weeding in the veg garden and removed four barrows of dung from horse shelter, lots more to do for both.

7° is the hottest it's been today, bitter wind, cloudy now, washing not properly dry.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hi all - home from t'mill  image

Cool here and the sun went several hours ago.

Doc has sent me his donation with a little note so hopefully he's ok. I was worried that he'd done away with the neighbours and was in the clink....image

I'll post him a cake with a file in it if he is! image

We get those nuisance calls at work too. I answered the phone yesterday and the nice little man was calling because someone 'had been in an accident'... image I asked him the name of the person he wanted to speak to that had been in this 'accident' , and he kept faffing so I kept repeating the question. He eventually got the message and hung up. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    afternoon all.

Had the most lovely visit to Rosemoor with Lyn , then back chez Hosta for tea and jaffa cakes.

Even though it was freezing cold  ( about 13C) we braved it and managed to get out alive.

Funnily enough, many of those empty paper bags I took out this morning have seeds in them now!!! How on earth did that happen?

And , even more strange, when we were walking round the garden / tunnels , more seeds seemed to appear in Lyn's hands ( and a few grasses ,erm, and some foxgloves)

Lyn took some lovely pics on her iPad thingy and has promised to post them later.

    Hello all.

Really lovely afternoon here.  image  Have been for a walk with OH, now getting to grips with paperwork, and trying to find yet more places for my Mum to live...  We're going to my sister's on Friday to look round the Homes she likes the look of, and she'll come here on Monday to view the ones we like around here.  Meanwhile, Mum has been persuaded, cajoled or tricked into taking her course of antibiotics, and is feeling better as a result.  image

The number of PPI phone calls seems to be diminishing (in this house at least) - though we still get those irritating recorded ones.  Not yet had people demanding bank details...  I'm making a mental note of your methods for dealing with them, just in case they start.  image

Must go and pick runner beans.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

GWRS, Lyn reckons she's not been there in about 20 years.
