    should that have been "neither of our husband ARE concerned"? Methinks so.

    I believe you can use either image

    'are' sounds better somehow - because of the plural...

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Neither is. Although you are talking about them as two people, in this context they are individuals

    Neither one is concerned as opposed to neither one are concerned. You say pedant like it's a bad thing.image

    You wouldn't say " our husbands is going to the pub together though" 

    I'm sticking with "are"image
