It was quite nice here jo - coldish, about 4 degrees - until about an hour ago when the rain started. The best day for walking for the foreseeable, looking at current forecasts, but I don't think I could have gone out for the day and just abandoned the girls....

Evening all chicken and beef in oven and smelling yummy, parsnips and roasties golden brown, sprouts and carrots about to go on...its all in hand gravy and yorkshires next!
Really lovely lazy Christmas day! Scoffed scramble and smoked salmon and couldn't move for several hours so had to keep up strength by eating chocolates! been watching Allo Allo reruns merry Christmas everyone, I expect to soon be crushed by the weight of my own stomach
Am full to bursting. Friends to lunch and we've only just finished the washing up - and I have a dishwasher. Was going to watch Strictly but it's on so early I wasn't ready so it's recording. Midwives next. Hope you've all had a good day.

Girls gone, been to cemetery, and now back with feet up and a cuppa. Leftover roast beast and trimmings for dinner later.
