It's actually quite reassuring to know how many people have been through a similar thing, it isn't something people really talk about openly but are more prepared to talk about on a forum, I suppose less chance of being judged. I'm not ashamed though, I had dark times and I got through them, at least now I know the signs and can watch out for them.
Anyway, this rubbish weather will pass, days will get longer, the sun will shine and we will all be happy in our gardens with the birds and the flowers....only 53 days to go now
Sorry Dove, I forgot to say I'm glad your parents were ok, or as ok as can be expected and your mum was chirpy . Rubbish about your son' scar though, glad it wasn't more serious.
CBT = fantastic - just a shame some people have to wait so long for it. A very dear friend had CBT early in what looked as if it was a plummet downwards - she has never looked looked back and some 20+ years on she still uses the techniques to keep level - everyone should learn these techniques in their teens.

Tracey, son thought he got away lightly with the car - he said the effects of the weather down there in Cornwall were worse than he ever imagined. Perhaps he'll take more notice of my warnings now!
Anyway, now he's stuck on the M25 'cos of heavy traffic due to the Tube Strike

I do have sympathy with the strikers - personally, and without wishing to get political with a big P, I think the plans to remove ticket offices and platform staff from tube stations is barmy - but the strikers do need to be careful to take the general public with them on this particular journey.
