Well, surely if it's the melatonin we can just all wear thick pyjamas...problem solved (winky face)...,,,I'll just let OH know and see what he says (cheeky winky face)
We've got flowers on our courgette plants too.....we had loads of courgettes last year....I didn't know what to make next lol...gave loads away too or we would have ended up looking like one lol. Very tasty tho
We love courgettes and I'm going to make some chutney/pickle with some for Christmas gifts - I make little gift sets for close friends and family
That one is in the GH but I have some outside which are being planted in the veg patch later, they are flowering too but the flowers aren't as big yet. I've never grown courgettes before, it's soooooo exciting when you get babies
Back was a bit stiff this morning, but have taken my drugs so hopefully will ease up a bit. Still not fit enough for the garden Following the rain of the last couple of days the weeds are romping so need my back to get better fast . . . if only OH would help Don't worry though, am a total wimp re pain so will not weed before I can run
Have fought off the man from Zenith who told me my fachias are 'rotten'. Not the way to get business mate! Yesterday we had a visit from a second company offering to fill my cavity walls with insulation. The first company should have come on Saturday but they didn't, and we couldn't get hold of them, so I have arranged for this lot to do it. It's all for free thanks to the govt, so I don't really mind who does it!
Hope you all have fun today. I'm off to London shortly for an assessment. Hopefully all will go well
We eat some of the male ones, especially the early ones that come when there's no females to pollinate. We sometimes also pick courgettes very small with flowers still attached and eat them
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Now, there was other stuff I wanted go reply to but brain isn't playing today so you will have to guess! Sorry! Have enjoyed snuggling away reading 'my phone' and keeping out of lunchtime conversations, you lot do come in useful!
