Dove poor Ma, looks like she's now going to have to have cooler drinks. Hope she is happy telling you stories rather than remembering the accident.

Hi Fg, Stacey, KEF and Panda - glad you're all ok - just had a phone call from son in Cornwall - the Travel Lodge where he stayed had electricity and he slept quite well - he's trying to avoid coastal roads where he can, but is mainly reliant on his Satnav and 'Avoiding Coastal Roads' isn't an option he can programme in - he's heading for an auction and crossing his fingers that it's not been postponed - he keeps checking the website and it doesn't say that it has so fingers crossed - it's a long way to drive for nothing

Thanks Verdun glad you seem to have escaped unscathed - my thoughts are with all those down there having a grim time.
We've got alternate heavy squalls then sunshine - currently sunshine, but I know that as soon as I get my walking gear on it'll tip down - I'll see if I can get a bit of a stomp along the harbour when I visit the Aged Ps later this morning.
