Morning all. Hope everyone in the south west has survived the storms intact. So many people cut off too.  Not getting any better is it?  Come on 'authorities' - stop sitting on your hands and do something to address these floods  image

I saw that surfer on tv Pentillie. Yikes!

Hope your mum is better today Dove. Always something to worry about.

The pair of robins visiting here are very busy - they must reckon it's spring even if we're too cautious to believe it. That sounds a bit rude...image

Work all day for me too. Take care everyone if you're travelling.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Good Morning all. Guess some won't be on here today, no power, and batteries will need to be saved. Let's hope services are restored soon for all who have been affected.

Dove poor Ma, looks like she's now going to have to have cooler drinks. Hope she is happy telling you stories rather than remembering the accident.

Not been out as it's raining and more strong winds due this afternoon.

Chicky & all heading out drive carefully.

    Morning all.

To echo the thoughts of others, hope all is well with those in the South West.

Dove, hope Ma is ok. Hope you have a good visit image

Must dash, missed the bus yesterday - oops! Can't do that today so see you all later image

  • Hi Fg, Stacey, KEF and Panda - glad you're all ok  - just had a phone call from son in Cornwall - the Travel Lodge where he stayed had electricity and he slept quite well - he's trying to avoid coastal roads where he can, but is mainly reliant on his Satnav and 'Avoiding Coastal Roads' isn't an option he can programme in - he's heading for an auction and crossing his fingers that it's not been postponed - he keeps checking the website and it doesn't say that it has so fingers crossed - it's a long way to drive for nothing image

  • Hi Verd. thinking of you, need any help battening down your hatches?

  • Thanks Verdun image glad you seem to have escaped unscathed - my thoughts are with all those down there having a grim time.

We've got alternate heavy squalls then sunshine - currently  sunshine, but I know that as soon as I get my walking gear on it'll tip down - I'll see if I can get a bit of a stomp along the harbour when I visit the Aged Ps later this morning.
