    Morning all, but only just.

Rubbish night again. Last look at the clock was 3.32 then hubby called at 9 and woke me up, been trying, but failing, to sleep ever since.

So much to do and the flippin' knee makes every take 10 times as long and use 100 times the energy.

Hope everyone's having a better day than I.

    Devon.

Hosta - you do sound as though you need a big hug - consider it done image

I did like the look of that pub near Tintagel you mentioned yesterday. Think we might add that to the list of places to visit when we  are next in the SW - maybe next year - who knows - so many places to go - so little time available.

Hope you grab 40 winks later on.

    aw thanks Topbird.image

To siesta or not to siesta , that is the question.

Am I more likely to sleep tonight if I don't? Or is it best to grab it when I can?

Did you meet a certain polldark gent per chance dove?

Apparently he was on Bodmin - but I took my own Poldark with me so no problem image  and we also visited Hosta and his lovely OH who cooked us a wonderful brunch and Lyn and her lovely OH were there also.  image

Why do you think you're not sleeping Hosta? Does your knee hurt at night? Can the doc help with that?

I have episodes of poor sleeping patterns - usually if I'm stressing about something. I find the only cure is to make myself get up at about 7am for several days - even if I've only had 2hrs sleep. Eventually fatigue takes over and I start being able to sleep when I go to bed. Worst thing is when you get into bed and your brain goes into overdrive & you can't switch off at all. The more you try - the worse it gets. Why do night time scenarios always seem so much worse than the actual event?

    thanks again Topbird.

My sleep patterns have been rubbish for about 40 years.

At least once a day for about the first 15 years hubby and I were together we'd have the following exchange

    him: What's up?

    me: I'm tired

    Him: you're always tired.

    me : I know.
