  • Hello again folks - we're back from a brisk walk across the marshes - kestrels hovering and woodpeckers drumming.  It's great out there!  And we got back just before it started to rain image

Great to see Pdock - ((hugs)) to him and Mrs Pdoc - as Hosta says, 'one day at a time' image

Good news about your friend Wintersong - I hope 2016 brings her stability and happiness in her life.

We're having a lovely day - we've been given some great presents and had some texts and phone calls from loved ones.  Bro has visited Ma and all is very jolly at The Lovely Home - the table is set and the chef has the turkey under control and the presents under the tree will be opened this afternoon (along with the sherry) image

Lunch will be ready when we feel like it, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is on in a minute  image

Afternoon and Happy Christmas one and all.

Have just finished the present unwrapping - santa has been very good to us all this year.

Dinner is in the oven and should be ready about 4ish so come 3pm I will probably be up to my elbows wrestling the turkey out of the oven but - if I can make it - I'll pop along to say hi to anyone who's looking in.

Hope everybody who is feeling under the weather starts to feel better soon and anyone who is on their own and doesn't want to be can pop in and out of here for a bit of company. This time of year is not great for so many people...

Enjoy your afternoon everyone - G&T calling me nowimage

OH is fast asleep on the sofa and we haven't had the wellington yet image Still, I've got booze going on so soon I won't care image

Cheers Panda - I'm on my first G&T & it's only an hour to dinner. I'm famished - gin, empty tummy, special dinner - doesn't sound like a recipe for disaster does it??? image

No spoilers for those who have yet to watch Masterchef, but you're in for a treat.

  • Presents open and tested (pace maker thingy ma jig for me), dinner done and now time to sit down with yet more choccies (if I don't fall asleep first) very early start and back still being a pain. image

Anyway, hope everyone is OK, nice just to take time to reflect if nothing else.

Next highlight of the day is SCD. image
