Has to be a four finger Kit Kat for me WW - the two finger ones don't taste the same at all. If I have to take two, perhaps I should add a couple more hills on to the walk to work them off...image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Admirable trait Wonky & Dove... definitely helps.  image  Morning to you two, plus Verdun, Fairy, LilyP, Lesley, SGL, Jo and anyone else I've missed.

Can't see the other side of the valley yet, so I'm stuck doing Jobs until the mist clears - shopping and Mum-visiting are next on the list I think.

I'm feeling quite optimistic this morning, the more so since my sister emailed to say she too has found a wonderful dementia care home, near her in Northumberland.  The decision may be tricky... or it may just depend on which one has a vacancy when we need it.  image

Fairy, both my parents were members of the Voluntary Euthenasia Society.  Dad died of a heart attack; Mum wasn't in a position to make a decision for herself, once dementia had taken hold.  Such a difficult problem.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Liri - I think that's the crux of the problem. Being able to make the decision. image

I wish you all the best with it - great that you have a couple of options now image

    erm, "morning" all. image

I did start to read back before 12,honest.

I think my " productive afternoon" yesterday took it out of me. I've been asleep for 11 hours.

    Best wishes to you Liri.

Hope Fidget has a wonderful day.

    Devon.

I now only have a ten minute commute to work Jo, so it's easier to resist image

'Fess up Hosta - you were partying hard at fidget's hen do and that's why you're Kerry Packered. I've seen the photographic evidence....image

I really must get on and shove all the hacked bits of greenery from yesterday into the brown bin - or else it'll be dinner time and not a pot washed...image

What a wonderful pic of your special place joimage.

Glad your start time is sorted Panda.  Don't go breaking a nail this afternoonimage.

Don't mind the occasional kitkat myself fairyimage.  Most definitely not a melted one thoughimage.  Chocolate is best straight from the fridge (Unless it's hot chocolate).

Liri it's great news that your sister is also searching homes. It takes the pressure off having to shoulder the responsibility on your own.

I've been to Aldi this morning and bought two hebes, silver variegated and white heather in 2l pots for £2.49 each and a shrub rose, Marjorie Fair for under £2. Great value and they are very healthy looking.

Have a lovely afternoon everyone and don't work your socks off Wonkyimage
