    Morning all!

Lovely weather here, but I have to stay in, waiting for a phone call.  image

LilyP, we've still got sweet peas here too.  They were late coming into flower this year, which is why they're still going strong, I suppose.  I pick them every day or two, and there's currently a vase of them on the sideboard scenting the room.  image

Mmm.  Stuffed ox heart... my granny used to make that.  Delicious!  image

Better get on with the h****w**k I suppose...  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

OH placed online order with Sainsbury's for delivery to-day

£10 off voucher wouldn't work so he called them this morning.

No, they can't credit it to his card. He offered to show it to the driver , or let him take it back with him.

So even though it's been picked, loaded onto the van and literally in the way here they said " you can always refuse the order and it'll be taken away"

So they had to call the driver to tell him / her not to come and take it all back.

They gave him a new voucher code  and he's just re-ordered for tomorrow.

Now someone has to put it all back on the shelf and someone else has to pick his order for tomorrow.

BTW it'll be 4 or 5 weeks, yes weeks before it's credited back to his card.

    Devon.

Afternoon all - beautiful day here - more planting & rearranging done - busy time of year but not frenetic like spring when EVERYTHING is happening at once (and everything needs regular watering for weeks after). Much more relaxed time of year image

Runny - did you see that 'a certain Mr Turner' has agreed to come and cut the lawn for us ready for Fidget's party on Friday? He will be doing it with a scythe for our entertainment & you can come & help me clear up after him if you like (don't HAVE to - but if you would LIKE to.... image ) Might take your mind off your poorly thumb!

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
