I think I'm right in thinking that Stacey does 'one of those jobs' that may require her to keep her head down on the www from time to time - a friend who used to do 'one of those jobs' and who is recently retired has been required recently to keep off the www as he was being 'watched online' by ............ someone.

Maybe she's being sensible and is keeping her head down image

Thanks OL. I've had my porridge and fruit so I think I can call the cake and tea elevenses...image

Grass to cut today. Didn't do it last night after tea, chopped up some geraniums that need to be removed for the lawn to go in(eventually) and potted some bits up. There's quite a lot of it so I'll put some at the back where I have the car along with some other bits and bobs. I still have to hack down the buddleia and attempt to remove it along with the tree stump from the dead tree I took out last year. image

My hydrangea paniculata's are very slowly coming into bud now - they are much slower than the other sorts, so would not give up hope yet.

"Haphazard" worked well yesterday as a gardening style, so will try it again today image. Got some borders edged (Beechgrove trick worked wonders), some plants planted and some mulching done.  I have lots of pricking out and potting on to do too - but saving that til Monday as it is a job i can do in the GH whilst it rains outsideimage

PG - take care in the sun today. I go brown quite quickly but I wondered if I would get a bit red yesterday as I was out in it for a long time.

My gardening was a bit haphazard too chicky. Felt I achieved quite a bit though image

Fg, you'd go blue rather than red if you were outside here - far too chilly for enjoyable gardening - I've chosen to de-slime the detergent drawer of the washing machine and give it a Service Wash in preference to gardening image

Lovely sun here but we're at the families so I just have to hope the garden is dry tomorrow.

Thanks Dove, I didn't realise Stacey had 'one of those jobs', it probably explains it.  Shouldn't she use a different name though, unless of course she does image

MIL has just been round with SIL and presents for LO and I, a lovely rose bush called Many Happy Returns, I take back what  I said earlier in the week.....for now anyway image

The sun here is very deceiving, it's very chilly outside image

  • Forester 2 the snow is gone but because the great lakes froze over completely we are getting a very slow start to spring. Its 9 c today but the ground is still holding frost. It doesn't look to promising for May and Victoria day (24th May) is our planting day.
