Morning Dove, I too slept through GW on sofa, my excuse lunch for first time with perspective in laws, and a few glasses of vino.
invites given for 7th July, so must get garden straight by then. Tour de France passes close by so French onion soup, bread and cheeses on the menu, and perhaps some wine.
Morning all - another lovely day here. Best make the most of it - this could be our spring and summer combined
Am I too late for cake...I suppose it's a bit wrong to have it for breakfast isn't it?
Off for a quick look round the forum to see what's what. Watched G'sW - think I'm enjoying Beechwood far more now. Meant to say - was it you MrsG that was worried about your Hydrangea paniculata? Jim is doing pruning on them - so try and catch it tomorrow
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thanks fairy, will have alook at hydrangea.p info - lily also needs to check it out. Still dead as a dodo though so far..
AWB tour de France passes close to us as well, but OH in his wisdom booked a holiday at the same time - after getting all excited and buying all of is official t.shirts ( no smiley but annoyed, disappointed etc).
Hope you are well Stacey.
Fingers crossed OH will drag himself away from tv ( think its motor racing this time) and get on with th e arches.
Oooh yes MrsG., my paniwhatsit still looks like a dead twig, there is one teeny tiny shoot on one twig lol but that hasn't got any bigger than when I saw it just over a week ago
Morning All Sausage, bacon and egg butties on the go for the boys, still some cake left for Fairy in the fridge (fresh cream in ),many one else want breakfast barns while I'm on it??
Last time Stacey went away for a few days she did mention it, I know she doesn't have to but it just seems strange to have just 'gone' and like someone said with baby plants to look after Stacey, left us know you're ok x
Thinking of Mike today too and hoping all goes well at his scan.
It got down to 4c in the GH last night and agree with Verdun, it is getting pretty dry, I have been out this morning and watered all my pots, can't remember the last time it rained properly now
