    Morning everyone.

Panda and friend look very chilled, is mini panda back home looking after your gardens? Well maybe making lists as she's tired out.

Gg do you ever stop?! Pallet ideas and then getting on with it - brilliant!

Thanks fb and yes lily I was so relieved had to celebrate with a red!

Suffering several bites from the woodland walk yesterday so will be having antihistermine for breakfast.

Oft to pleasant civilized work today (salt mines tomorrow).

Have a good day, hope you all get to do at least a little of what you fancy today!

Morning all. Cloudy here just now but it's to burn off and be hot again.

I'd like to apologise on behalf of all 'normal' Scots for the abomination of that opening ceremony. If you missed it - well done -you did the right thing. Every stereotype thoroughly reinforced. image

Apart from the ballet sequence and Amy McDonald it was thoroughly embarrasssing. Can someone please put John Barrowman back on  a plane to America and leave him there?

Work for me too but will hopefully get something done outside later - apart from watering! Tomatoes are looking good so I'll enjoy those when they ripen. Ggirl - definitely get some toms in your growhouse next year image

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're up to. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Not your fault fairy.

Do think they should have just had Amy McDonald and  the bagpipes. Dancers (well not really) weren't together and I think Rod Stewart should call it a day too. Must have cost a fortune.

(Don't mean the ballet dancers fairy)

Morning everyone image Lovely sunny day here and WFH today after a long day so the plan is to get lots of admin work done this morning and dead-head during my 'lunch'. I'm going to put a question on about dead-heading....

Was up at 5.30 to get little man to school for 6.30 for his london trip, he was more excited than when he was little and it was Christmas.

Went for a swim, first time this week and after the first 4-5 lengths my ankle was fine, I know you'll probably tell me off but I think swimming is really good for muscle injuries and helped my back loads when I fell a few years ago, plus I'm feeling slobby already doing no excercise image

BL sorry about your daughter's jewellery, I hope the burglars realise it's of no real monetary value and you get it back.

Panda, loved the pics last night, so did my OH who thinks you look very cute image

Dove, glad AP's are ok, it is lovely they can still be together.

I must admit I didn't see much if the opening ceremony, I was busy researching and reading.

Right, off to do work.  Bye for now x

  • Good morning all, another lovely day in Happy Valleyimage.

Small toms in GH story, precipitated by above comments. I used to grow toms outside but blight was always an issue. When I got my new GH I put them inside. I then had a massive invasion of flies, it was truly unpleasant. So this year for the first time I am growing no toms at all. ( very few flies in GH)

However the tomato fairy has sown some for me in the raised bed. Is she trying to tell me something? Have no idea of the variety, but we will see, hopefully. I am not pinching them out in case they are bush variety.

Little Panda was tucked up in bed last night as all the excitement had worn her out image

We have to go home today so she's being a madam and dragging her heels, doesn't want the fun to end image

Have a lovely day everyone. Hope the salt mines are good for those who are off to them today.

Fairy, sounds like I should be glad I was out last night image

Morning fellow forkers, another beautiful day.  Sorry opening ceremony of what, dont watch TV in the summer when the weather if good and Ive even stopped catching up on the news as its all war and murder at the moment.  I think its probably atheletics but now you're all going to roar with laughter and its probably something totally different.  Great idea re the potting bench from pallets did see few similar ideas on tinternet when I was setting up my teeny tiny greenhouse but bought one in the sale in the end.  Have just got some clear film for the apex of the conservatory, in the evening the glare makes it difficult to sit in there, so hopefully hubby with help put that up today.  Mrs G hope the bites tont itch too much I was eaten alive the other night so will join you in your unusual brekkie.  Panda, it looks like you are having a lovely relaxing time, not sure how long you have left of your hols but enjoy.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
