  • Hi Hosta I watched some program the other day and they were showing how white spirit outshon proprietary stain removing products . I haven't tried it but I'm sure it is worth a try. But I would definitely keep away from hot water till it is dealt with.  Also Astonish spray in the 99p shop is good if left to really soak in .

    Good luck image

First vomiter of the school year!! Poor child, why do parents send them if they're not well??

Perhaps its a good job I didn't send them to Wonkys house.

Hosta, there will be a wonderful scent he's after, have you checked all out buildings and car?! I had once left ours in the car accidentally, shameful I know.

    good luck

Morning everyone. Lovely sunny morning here, even a bit warm but nice for a change. Yviestevie , that keeping upright all night would drive me nuts! Hope he can manage. The things they do to you!  Still. If it means that the eye will come good, I suppose the difficult bits be soon be forgotten. Best wishes to all for health, house moving and pet probs. image

Good morning to anyone who's up image

I've been up for over half an hour, inspected the garden in my jimjams with a torch, now drinking coffee waiting for the world to join me ......... seems like I've got my old body clock back again image

Hi Dove, good to hear from  you.  You're probably still revved up from helping Wonky. You must feel good though to have got a lot done.  Hope your day is good.image

Good morning Dove and those to appearimage

Too dark to go out for a walk yet so I'll join you for a coffeeimage.  Don't think I'll get much work out of OH today as he attacked a huge conifer yesterday.  He's going to be so stiff after all the ladder climbing and reaching.  It was meant to be rounded at the top but looks decidedly heart-shaped to meimageimage

Yvie I'm glad OH's op went well and hope it turns out to be a success.

    Have a good day everyoneimage

Hi Pat, hooe your day continues to be nice and warm.  We have been so lucky with the last few days and have been able to do lots of clearing in the garden.  It makes a nice change after the poor summer.  I still have lots of plants that are just coming into bud that should have been flowering weeks ago.

Are you going back to Wonky's today Dove or leaving it till the weekend?  Hope you're not achy this morning after all the work yesterday.

A heart shaped tree ....maybe he thinks that will get him out of buying valentines cards Lesleyimage

Glad Mr Yvie's op went well - hope he is not a fidgety person - the after treatment regime sounds like it would require some patienceimage

Theatre was great - it was a play about a romance with a twist in wartime Glasgow.  Brought tears to my eyes at one point, so quite powerful.

and now .....off to work I goimage

Chicky -  well he is Scottishimage. I daren't say anything or he won't volunteer for anything elseimage.  The play sounds as though it was excellent to provoke such an emotional responseimage.
